Log cabin is simply furnished, but has everything you'd need.
Nothing, really.

The breakfast was tasty, one could have a big breakfast.
The à la carte area was a bit sober and cool.

Sauna facilities in rooms, accessibility to the Snow Village, kid-friendly activities and entertainment
No WiFi in cabins!!! Limited English TV channels left entertainment options lacking!!! Noise from entertainment areas made it hard to relax in the evenings!!!

Cross country skiing track starts right outside the hotel.
WLAN isn't included in the price, and after paying 15 EURO for a day, it didn't work and nobody was able to help me. In the Café Aito in the supermarket WLAN is free (well, you have to order something...) - and it worked without any problems!

Very helpful reception staff. All spoke excellent English! ( I don't know any Finnish). Nice sauna & spa pool. Airport bus will drop off / collect from the door.
Stayed in ground floor hotel room (annex adjacent to reception / dining area) Close proximity was useful in cold snowy conditions but could get noisy throughout evening & into early hours of morning ( 2 - 3 am) as guessts stood outside main door smoking or awaiting taxis. Also room temperature was very hot & only 1 small window could be opened. Overall decor was a little tired looking. Note: twin beds were comfortable but narrow. Not a problem for us but may not be suitable for larger people.

The hotel is bike friendly with great washing facilities.
As international visitors, relying on wifi for planning would have significantly eased our experience. The offered restaurant voucher did not compensate for this serious drawback since we couldn't utilize it effectively without internet access.

What an utter disappointment! No wifi in the cabins, leaving me in the dark about planning. Oh, and the coffee? Absolutely basic, not even a hint of exciting flavors. I expected some special treatment, perhaps an upgrade for my troubles, but I guess personal attention just isn't in their vocabulary. Almost posted a glowing review, but I just couldn't.

A Cozy Retreat with Friendly Staff and Great Food
The evenings were relaxing by the fireplace, and the buffet breakfast was sumptuous. I appreciated the attentive service in the restaurant. Pro tip, bring your own snacks. The coffee options in the morning are basic.

We enjoyed the health club and skiing right from our doorstep. The experience was upgraded with traditional Lappish cuisine, and we loved the lovely views of snow-covered fields and the large lake in the middle of the village. Don't miss out on the evening shows and activities like snowshoeing!
One thing to note is the drinks were quite pricey.

Just a solid selection for a city break in Akaslompolo with very good value for money. The skiing was great and I enjoyed the overall cozy atmosphere of the log cabin. Bring your own snacks since the breakfast coffee options are limited.

We had a lovely stay in a cozy log cabin with a sauna, and the buffet breakfast was delicious and well prepared. The only downside was the cabin being a bit smaller than I expected from photos.

great amenities but lack of attention to detail
The room was a perfect blend of comfort and coziness with the lovely sauna and fireplace. I appreciated the very nice buffet breakfast, one of the best I've experienced with a variety of options. The location allowed us a short walk to the lake, perfect for catching fine views of the northern lights.
Some areas seemed to lack meticulous upkeep, particularly in the common spaces.
